Security Officer Training Certificate in NJ
In January 2007, the New Jersey State Police made it mandatory for all licensed security companies doing business in New Jersey to certify each registered and new hire security officer. SORA, Security Officer Registration Act, was established to provide a benchmark for security standards within the industry.
LADD was founded in 1987 by Robert Licata, President. LADD is
a full-service security firm and has three (3) Certified Security Officer
Instructors on staff. Each Certified Security Officer Instructor has over
25 years experience in law enforcement.
Right now, LADD has open enrollment for the mandatory SORA certification.
The curriculum requires 24 credit hours to be completed to be certified. Sign
up for LADD's PLAN A training package, and you will
will get additional certifications in First
Aid (American Heart Association's Heartsaver Course), CPR and AED—all
in one 24 hour training session.
LADD will provide on-site certification at your facility
or provide classroom instruction at its state-of-the-art facility in Denville,
NJ.
LADD also provides instructional classes twenty-four
(24) hours per day seven (7) days per week to accommodate
